In this pilot episode we’ll meet Lillian Aldridge, Lady Margaret Richmond AKA Peggy Dawson and Edna Bowman as they travel across the English Channel in their respective C47 Douglas Dakotas to deliver medical supplies and bring back wounded soldiers from the war-torn beaches of Normandy, France.
As we flashback into each of the women’s lives, we’ll get a glimpse into their backgrounds, get to know their families, friends and past lovers. And we’ll discover the major life events that led them to volunteer, fly with the RAF and eventually be dubbed “The Flying Nightingales.”

The Californian is a world where senior healthcare is at its worst. From bingo to luau nights with mystery smoothie shots, the inadequate yet eager staff aims to please. In this pilot episode the staff attempt to put on a production of “Jesus Christ Superstar,” but they soon discover, with the sudden passing of both their “Jesus” leads, the play might be cursed.

With no home or life to go back to and the police on his tail, he decides to hitch a ride with the players and hide out, taking on a new role as their road manager.
